How To Host The Ultimate Tailgate Party

How To Host The Ultimate Tailgate Party

- 2023-05-06

Tailgating has become a celebrated tradition across America and has spread around the world — it's no surprise why. What's not to love about gathering with friends, family, and fellow sports fans to enjoy good food, and drinks (zero alcohol for the driver of course) before the big game? Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the tailgating scene, here are some tips to help you plan and execute the ultimate tailgate party.

Choosing the Right Location

One of the most important aspects of tailgating is choosing the right location. You want a spot that's close to the stadium, so you can quickly make your way to the game, but also offers easy access to amenities like restrooms and trash cans. Also, if you’re going to be using the Cadac 2 Cook Pro Deluxe Portable Gas Barbeque or Front Runner BBQ / Fire Pit, make sure that you are legally allowed to cook there. Then, get there early to snag a prime spot and set up your tailgate area.

Gearing Up for the Party

To create a comfortable and functional space for your guests, it's important to have the right equipment. Front Runner's Expander Table and Expander Camping Chairs are designed to be easy to set up and take down, making them perfect for tailgating. To take it to the next level create some shade and shelter from the elements with Front Runner’s Easy-Out Awning. Read more about the right camping table for you, here.

Planning Your Menu

No tailgate party is complete without food and drinks, so planning your menu in advance is key. Keep it simple and easy to eat, like grilling up some burgers and hot dogs, or preparing finger foods like chips-and-dip or veggie platters. Consider including some vegetarian or vegan options for those with dietary restrictions. Be sure to have plenty of water, soda, and cold beverages on hand, and don't forget to bring along your favorite condiments. To make sure you have the freshest food and coldest drinks, store your supplies in a  Dometic powered cooler. The CFX3 series from Dometic was designed to run on both 12/24VDC and 240VAC and offers a range of fridge/freezer sizes to suit all types of adventure needs. Cleaning Up and Packing Up

After the game is over, it's important to leave the area better than you found it. Be sure to dispose of all trash and recycling properly and pack up your Front Runner gear and any leftover food and drinks. If you're looking for an eco-friendly way to clean up, consider using biodegradable plates, utensils, and cups. Also, check out Cadac’s range of cleaning accessories, such as the Soft Soak. This convenient, easy-to-pack, flexible, silicone rubber cleaning bowl is specifically designed to soak the Cadac GreenGrill, but is also ideal for soaking dishes, cutlery, and other camp cooking utensils.
