Product Questions
Can the 10" lights be tilted or angled at all during installation?
Question by: Eric
Definitely! The 10" light can be angled about 30 degrees downward from the horizontal position.
Answer by: Front Runner
How is this light activated / turned on?
Question by: Clint
It turns on once plugged in. They are made to plug into the vehicle's lighter outlet. If you choose to hardwire it then you can select a switch of your liking (purchased separately) to include during the installation process.
Answer by: Front Runner
I have your rack and just read the info on the front light and its ability to be mounted on the bottom and the flip up cover... I love this idea. Not sure I need a cover for side lights but is there any way to mount this on the bottom of the rack? I live in WA state with lots of trees and limbs hanging around and I just think it sticking out is asking for trouble.
Question by: David
This particular light can only clamp onto the side. The mounting system for this light bar won't allow for anythign else. Thank you!
Answer by: Front Runner
I have a Slimline II rack on my 4runner, mounted upside down to accommodate a roof top tent. I'm interested in the 10"/250MM LED FLOOD LIGHT W/ BRACKET. Will it mount successfully on the side of the Slimline II rack if I mount the light bracket from the underside of the rack rim.
Question by: Ray
Yes. you will be able to mount the 10"/250mm LED Flood Light w/ Bracket to your rack that is mounted upside down. Just note that with the rack upside down the light will hang a bit lower then normal.
Answer by: Front Runner
Can this light be hard wired to the vehicle instead of using the Hella plugs? I'd rather it be controlled from accessory panel in the cab.
Question by: jason glasser
Yes, of course it can be hard wired. Little modification and some electrical knowledge will be needed.
Answer by: Front Runner
Will this 10" Flood Light item RRAC058 mount on the back of the Front Runner Slimline II Full Rack for my 2012 Jeep JK if I have the Stainless Steel Camp table item TBRA003 mounted under the rack as well?
Question by: Brian38501
You would have to do some measuring. If you have room to mount on the left or right sides of the table it would be best. Otherwise it would interfere when accessing your table.
