Absolute Best Rack for My G Wagon
I originally bought my Front Runner rack back in 2019. It has been a work horse for my dream car. I load it up with surfboards and venture up and down the California coast with it.
Unfortunately, I noticed that the rack started to show signs of rust about a year ago, and then over the last 6 months the metal was showing significant signs of decay - not only rust but discoloration in areas where there was soon to be rust. It was time to remove the rack as it was becoming an eye sore on my beautiful G Wagon.
Not to worry, I reached out to Front Runner and shared what was going on. Without any hesitation, they offered to replace the rack, and within a week I had the new rack in my garage. They also provided some suggestions on how to reduce the rate of decay. The reality is that living near the ocean with daily exposure to salt water is a harsh environment for any metal. They say I should have many more years of life out of the new rack with the use of their rack care spray.
