A dear friend of ours, a hostess at a famous celebrity infested Sunset Strip hotel and restaurant, had a dream of heading back home to Africa and becoming a safari game ranger. And guess what?
After a grueling 5 month training course, she did it! Not only did she survive the bush and encounters with lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino on foot (sometimes unarmed), she survived the rigorous course cuts. About 30 students were whittled down to a final 10 and she is now a qualified ranger for &Beyond (now there’s a reality show!).
Although it might not be such a stretch moving from working with the dangerous Big 5 of Hollywood (Movie Stars, Agents, Rock Stars, Managers, and their Lawyers) to the Big 5 of Africa, we’re very proud of her and this incredible accomplishment!
