Here’s a quick video summary of the Land Rover LR3 / LR4 Front Runner Slimline Roof Rack install.
Watching this hurts a bit — since this vehicle was stolen from us a week after we installed the roof rack (as well as new tires, rims, floor matts…). We were in the middle of a build out and were a day away from installing the Front Runner LR3 Sump Guard, the Front Runner LR3 Bumper Winch plate, the Front Runner LR3/LR4 Rear Ladder, the Front Runner Fridge slide with a National Luna Weekender, and the Front Runner Feather-Lite tent — along with many other smaller goodies. Once we settle this mess w/ insurance, we’ll buy another Land Rover Lr3 and start the build out from the top.
From our experience with the Front Runner Land Rover gear in South Africa and all the feedback from other people around the world who are converting used LR3s for traveling, this is becoming THE hot vehicle for overlanding. And you won’t find better designed, better built or better looking overlanding accessories for your LR3 and Lr4 anywhere else.
