Our all aluminum roof racks are engineered with modern vehicle design in mind and offer strength, lightness and aerodynamics unmatched by any other roof rack in the industry.

With the unique patented locking slat system all accessories and everything else you decide to put on the rack can be bolted to the flat slats. This provides the most convenient solution for rattle free, secure, and safe travel.

All Front Runner Racks are constructed with a commitment to quality in the Front Runner factory in South Africa. Each rack is engineered to meet the exacting demands of professional expeditioneers who must navigate extreme road conditions day in and day out.

The slats of the rack have t-slots on both sides, allowing the fitment of accessories to the underside of the rack as well. The stainless steel feet also take advantage of the t-slots, allowing flexible choices for positioning the rack on the rooftop. The feet bolt onto the t-slots in the rack, and firmly secure the rack to the roof top by sliding into and bolting on to the Front Runner supplied track. The use of track helps to spread the load evenly across the Jeep’s hard top.

The track is secured to the hard top using 8 special neoprene well nuts. These rubber nuts compress in the holes when tightened, which eliminates moisture seeping into the vehicle, and eliminates rattle by providing an insulated cushion. There are no bolts, nuts or other protrusions into the cab of the vehicle, since this unique installation takes advantage of the hollow space in the hard top. The weight of the rack and the accessories is evenly distributed across the roof top over the length of the all aluminum track.

For 2007-2010 models only. 

Using the half rack on the 5 door JK allows you to remove the t-tops as usual since the rack only attaches to the rear of the Freedom Top roof.  

Your rear hard top is still easily removable.    Just remove the 4 bolts that hold the feet together and lift off the rack.   Unfasten the hard top as per Jeep's instructions.

This kit comes complete with an “Q” size Slimline rack (1330mm X 1400mm), four (4) 60mm feet, custom fit tracks, as well as a wind deflector and all hardware.

This rack kit includes the taller height feet for mounting certain accessories underneath the rack.
