The Dual Battery Controller uses high-accuracy digital technology to monitor your batteries several times per second and display battery level status in an easy-to-read manner.
The Dual Battery Controller is fitted with two displays (one each for main and auxiliary battery). If either of your batteries are not present, or one or both are flat, the Controller will warn the user of this situation with an audible alarm (if enabled) and a flashing warning on the appropriate display. The alarm will stop once battery voltage has risen above 12.0V.
A special feature of the Dual Battery Controller is its ability to “over-ride” the Intelligent Solenoid and allow the user to force the main and auxiliary batteries to connect - all conveniently from the cab of your vehicle. This is particularly useful when a winch is used or for “jump-starting” the main battery from the auxiliary battery.
The Dual Battery Controller is the perfect add on to the National Luna Intelligent Solenoid.
The controller is supplied with a removable cable which connects to the Intelligent Solenoid. The plug-in cable is 11.5 feet in length.

Some aftermarket parts manufacturers make vehicle specific dual battery trays. If your particular vehicle doesn’t have a tray for the engine compartment, you can also place your auxiliary battery(s) under a seat, in the foot well, in a lock box in the bed of a pickup, etc.
